curbcut is a Shopify app that scans a store's public storefront for accessibility issues, lets the merchant approve fixes, and publishes an accessibility statement page.
We do not collect or store your customers' personal data. Scans read only the public storefront, not orders, customers, or checkout.
To suggest accessible names for unlabeled buttons and links, small HTML fragments of the affected elements are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. These fragments come from your public storefront markup and contain no customer data. Anthropic does not use this data to train models.
Data is stored on our server in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
When you uninstall curbcut, Shopify notifies us and we delete your store's records — scans, issues, fixes, and tokens. We honor Shopify's GDPR data-request and redaction webhooks. You can also email us to request deletion at any time.
